Gel Regetsin: instructions for use

Budget products for acne and acne scars rarely produce a quick and pronounced effect. Regetsin is an exception; some women call this gel Photoshop in a tube. For mild rashes, the drug helps from the first days of use.

Composition and release form

As expected, the composition of the product is fully indicated on the packaging, and the following components are clearly stated there:

  • Purified water;
  • Carbopol;
  • Sodium hyaluronate;
  • Sodium hydroskid;
  • Potassium sorbate;
  • Zinc chloride.

Attention! Sodium, not Zinc, as many dishonest and/or illiterate cosmetic sites and bloggers write.

Composition of the product
Often on the Internet in the description of the gel you can find in the text: “contains zinc hyaluronate.” This is an outright lie, since the only drug containing zinc hyaluronate in Russia is the medicinal gel Curiosin from the Gideon Richter company.

Regetsin gel is similar in composition to Curiosin. Which is subject to patent protection, so other manufacturers cannot use the substance-substance zinc hyaluronate for the production of medicines.

Zinc hyaluronate is prepared separately by the reaction of sodium hyaluronate and zinc chloride in equivalent amounts of sodium and zinc under special conditions to allow this reaction to take place. After which the finished solution is used in the production of a drug for acne.

But then the producers of Regetsin resorted to a little trick. The composition contains sodium hyaluronate and zinc chloride separately, but we can only guess how much of each and how much they reacted with each other. Besides, this is a cosmetic product, so what are the complaints? At the same time, no one forbids you to write anything on the Internet, right? :)

pharmachologic effect

What happens to the skin after applying the drug? Molecules of hyaluronic acid, penetrating into the layers of the epidermis, are synthesized with proteins and water, creating new compounds that cover epithelial damage at a natural level. New fabrics have increased strength, elasticity and elasticity. Visually damaged skin is smoothed out, stops being overly pigmented, blood circulation improves, and tightens. Thanks to the healing and antimicrobial properties of acid and zinc, acne, acne, and severe stages of dermatitis disappear in just a few weeks.

Zinc, in turn, not only disinfects, but also relieves inflammation and removes toxins. Without zinc molecules, vitamin A is not absorbed, which also affects the condition of the skin and prevents the formation of acne.

How does regetsin work?

This product is often purchased by people on their own to use against acne and acne after reading reviews on the Internet. Less commonly prescribed by doctors. The main effect of the drug is its drying effect of the main components, due to the presence of alkali - sodium hydroxide and zinc chloride salt. Both of these components are excellent at drawing water out of tissues. It is for this reason that Regetsin gel should be applied pointwise.

We have already written more than once that acne needs to be dehydrated to prevent the proliferation of pathogenic microbes. Zinc chloride has an astringent effect, that is, it coagulates (folds) the surface proteins of the skin. Thus, inflammation is isolated from neighboring healthy tissues, which, together with the drying, antiseptic, bactericidal and antifungal effects of potassium sorbate, has an anti-inflammatory effect.

Carbopol and sodium hyaluronate form a gel base, which ensures the formation of a film on the surface of the pimple and does not interfere with the action of the main substances.

Why may Regetsin not be effective?

There are quite a few reviews on the Internet that this cosmetic product does not help and does not work. There is a very important point , namely the accompanying factors.

Firstly, inflammatory processes on the skin can be nonspecific, i.e. caused directly by microflora on the surface of the skin due to skin damage and blockage of the sebaceous glands. In this case, this remedy will most likely help. However, for specific skin inflammations, such as demodicosis, acne vulgaris and other purulent-inflammatory phenomena that are caused by specific microorganisms, without special preparations containing antibiotics, antimicrobial and antiprotozoal components will be ineffective.

To select a drug that will help in your case, we recommend that you submit the discharge of skin rashes for culture (in laboratories you can find the name “skin scraping”) and determine sensitivity to antibacterial drugs. This will help you avoid wasting money, time and skin health when you start trying different products on yourself for a long time using the selection method.

Secondly, there are factors that are little talked about, but which greatly influence the nature and severity of inflammation and acne, namely, they aggravate the picture and contribute to the development of inflammation:

  • Eating sweet and fatty foods;
  • Lack of hygiene when sweat forms on the face;
  • Touching the skin and inflammation with dirty hands;
  • Incorrectly selected skin care products;
  • Excessive use of cosmetics and improper cleansing of cosmetics from the skin.

Cosmetologists' opinion

Experts have different opinions regarding the use of gel as an anti-wrinkle cosmetic. Some believe that its use has a positive effect on the skin. Other cosmetologists, despite all the above arguments in favor of the gel, still do not recommend using it to eliminate wrinkles. They explain their position as follows:

  • Regicin is a drug, which means it has side effects;
  • the use of Regetsin to smooth out wrinkles can be addictive, and the effect of the gel will be observed for 1–2 months, and then the situation can radically change for the worse.

Therefore, before you start using anti-wrinkle gel, you should consult a cosmetologist.

Effect of use

As mentioned above, Regetsin has a drying, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effect. The gel forms a film on the surface of the pimple, and after drying it can form a small crust - this occurs due to the action of the components, and the crust itself represents dead skin cells and “neutralized” microbes.

Under no circumstances should you pick off scabs on any wounds or pimples.

You need to continue using the product for some time until the pimple dries completely. Then epithelization will occur in the skin and the crust itself will be rejected by healthy tissues.

Methods of using Regetsin

Before use, remember that this product may form a whitish film at the site of application when it dries.

For acne

If the rash is caused by nonspecific microbes, then the use of Regetsin will show a quick effect. It is necessary to apply the gel pointwise 1-2 times (up to 4 times for severe and extensive inflammation) a day for medicinal purposes.

To prevent acne formation, it is recommended to use 1-2 times a week. In this case, it is better not to use cosmetics. Using excessive moisturizers and foundation will negate the entire effect of the product.

Using Regetsin against purulent acne caused by a specific pathogen (for example, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus pyogenes, Propionum bacterium acnes, etc.) will give a good effect when combined only with antibacterial drugs.

For post-acne

In the fight against acne spots, Regitsin should be used at the stage of healing the pimple. After complete epithelialization and formation of healthy skin.

It is not advisable to use the product after acne has appeared, as it can dry out the delicate newly formed skin. In a place where there is no longer inflammation and pus, it is better to use methyluracil ointment.

results

The first results are noticeable after 1-2 weeks of regular use, as the effect accumulates constantly. Immediately after treatment, the skin becomes soft and matte, which is why Regetsin is considered an excellent base for makeup.

After a course of use the following is observed:

  • reduction in the number of comedones;
  • narrowing of skin pores;
  • reducing the amount of inflammation;
  • protection from new rashes;
  • eliminating acne spots;
  • increasing skin elasticity.

The gel has also earned positive reviews when used in the combined treatment of acne, as well as in monotherapy for various defects.

Application of Regetsin for aging skin:

  • restores complexion, gives the skin a healthy glow;
  • eliminates yellowness and age spots;
  • tightens the oval of the face;
  • maintains water balance;
  • smooths out fine wrinkles after 2 weeks of use;
  • reduces deep skin folds in 4 weeks;
    Regetsin facial gel will help remove fine wrinkles in two weeks. It is convenient because it can be applied under cosmetics in a thin layer.
  • eliminates bags under the eyes and expression lines.

For problem skin with acne and dermatitis:

  • after a week of use, the gel relieves inflammation;
  • after 2 weeks, skin tone and relief are evened out;
  • in 4-5 weeks the skin will become clear without scars and acne scars;
  • Eliminates acne marks within a week.

In other cases:

  • heals wounds, cracks and other skin damage;
  • disinfects.

It should be remembered that in individual cases, the use of Regetsin may be ineffective.

Reviews

We invite you to read the reviews of ordinary people about the use of regecin for acne, and if you have any questions, you can always ask your question on our cosmetic forum.

I periodically recommend this remedy to my patients as an additional remedy as part of complex therapy. I highly do not recommend it as a drug of choice for the treatment of low to moderate acne, and especially severe acne, since the effectiveness of the product is extremely low. But as an additional supporting agent, it’s just right, since hyaluronic acid is always good for our skin. And the product itself is not comedogenic.

Vasilisa, Cosmetologist, Moscow

I have very oily skin and periodically suffer from acne outbreaks on my forehead and bridge of my nose. Once I was looking for another miracle remedy that could help me speed up the solution to the problem of my rashes. My choice settled on this product, which was lying on the counter at the pharmacy. What can I say about him? I didn’t notice the miraculous effect that most girls on VKontakte and Instagram attribute to it, but I want to note that post-acne actually disappears faster than if it went away on its own. And sores after mechanical removal also heal much faster than usual.

Using Regetsin gel helped me against acne when used together with Baziron gel, I didn’t exactly understand what helped more, the first or the second? However, now, if a pimple appears, I apply Baziron at night, and with Regicin, my problem is solved very quickly :)
