I received the entire “Lora-beauty” series from Evalar as a gift, from the generosity of a friend, in the form of 4 tubes of eye contour cream, 2 tubes of face cream and 2 packages of “Lora” tablets. I won’t talk about every product in this series, I’ll just note that I would never buy all this for myself with my own money. I’ll just say one thing in detail.
So, the hero of the review is the Laura eye contour cream from Evalar.
Something that went in the trash after a year of use
From the manufacturer: the cream is stated as
rejuvenating, should eliminate wrinkles, swelling, dark circles around the eyes with regular use by improving microcirculation, drainage, and increasing skin density. The cream contains peptides that should prolong the life cycle of skin cells, these cells begin to work in young and healthy mode. After 4 weeks, a visible effect of use occurs - the skin tightens, swelling and dark circles disappear, and wrinkles and folds smooth out on their own. Can be used from the age of 25 to prevent expression lines.
Each tube of cream was packed in a large box; inside, along with the cream, was an advertising brochure with recommendations on how to use the entire series correctly. I can’t stand the packaging, I threw everything away at once, I didn’t plan to write a review.
The cream is in a regular, cheap tube, not sealed. Volume ±15 g (approx. 15 ml). I note that only one of the four was completely filled, the rest - a little more than half. My friend didn't use them.
Cost of cream: from 220 rubles and above.
Duration of use: a little over a year (2 tubes). I didn't have enough time to lime all 4 tubes.
About application: the promise “a visible effect occurs after 4 weeks” acted on me like a red rag on a bull. For the first month I just tested the cream and didn’t see any effect. Simple moisturizing, and thank you for that. But they promised an effect... Second month - cream + tablets "Lora", cream - as always - morning and evening, one tablet a day. I saw the “effect” on the 3-4th day of the experiment - acne on my cheeks, where I had never had them in my 30 years. I felt severe pain in my left side and under my ribs. The experiment failed, I threw away the pills and ignored the promise of an effect. I just applied the cream morning and evening.
The cream has only three advantages (and those are controversial, in my opinion):

-economical (a tube that was completely filled lasted me about 6 months, although I used up 15 ml of Diademin’s eye cream in three months).
Cons (challenging pros):
-after washing (and I use a soft cleanser) there is a feeling of dryness, the skin under the eyes is like parchment, one desire is to quickly apply the cream, some kind of vicious circle,
- does not eliminate dark circles at all (when applying the cream, after absorption, a slight shine remained on the skin of the eyelids - as if the manufacturer had added reflective particles or some kind of mica to the cream, but this is just a visual effect). Tested by work with 10-24 schedule 5/2, when I began to look like a panda...they then asked me “Are you drinking?”, although I am indifferent to alcohol, I just had chronic lack of sleep on my face;
-swelling also remains in place,
- “wrinkles and folds smooth out by themselves” - just beautiful words. Verified.
While I was using this cream, I additionally made various eye masks to still remove traces of lack of sleep and fatigue from my face. The question about the booze finished me off, I took pity on myself, spat on principles and stopped using this cream, bought the first one I came across for dark circles and am happy as an elephant. Without exaggeration…
And the Laura eye contour cream is just a moisturizing cream with a composition that has a couple of questions about it.
I always look at the ingredients, the first 7 ingredients - the active base of the cream - are a must. I read the ingredients on the packaging (water, soybean oil, castor oil, REGU-AGE complex, broom extract, vegetable glycerin, heliogel, caffeine...) the active base - and asked the question: “WHY DOESN’T IT WORK?” Ethyl alcohol at the very end, but oh well. All the same, because such a composition is - as they say - doomed to success and action. There is nothing but hydration. And I’m not the only one, let me point out. There is also some kind of peptide complex, just try to guess its percentage... It’s a cream with peptides, but there is no specific information about its actual presence - neither on the packaging, nor on the face. The composition does not correspond to the action.
But on the website of this manufacturer, the active base of the cream is indicated differently - water, soybean oil, d-panthenol, hyaluronic acid, triethanolamine!, ethyl alcohol!, caffeine, carbopol,...Humectants and emulsifiers...Alcohol is among the first, which is why the cream dries out.
Maybe I just found something to complain about, I’m such a bore, but the composition really matches the action. And it is not harmless, it turns out, because... triethanolamine is safe for use in cosmetics intended for occasional use followed by thorough rinsing from the skin surface. In creams its concentration should not exceed 5%. It should not be used in products containing N-nitrosating agents to prevent the formation of possibly carcinogenic nitrosamines. In addition, it is useless to look for nitrosamines on the label, because... These are impurities, and they are not indicated in the composition. How much of this triethanolamine is in the cream?
I won’t go on describing the delights of this cream, and I’ve covered so much. Everything on the manufacturer’s website is so beautiful, they know how to sell it. I just wish that the manufacturers themselves didn’t cut corners by making loud statements on their products. And even though the composition on the site is given for information only, but I think it should be completely identical to the composition from the packaging. And so, faced with this discrepancy, I simply came to the conclusion that the composition on the packaging, as well as the guarantees of effects, etc., are simply wrong. Who will check it?
