The human papillomavirus (HPV) is present in 2/3 of the world's population, but in most cases the human immune system keeps it at bay. In the presence of other chronic diseases, the immune system weakens, which allows the virus to multiply intensively. As a result, in men, HPV can lead to the development of genital warts, which themselves are varied in structure and look like villous formations, “cauliflower”, and warts. The symptoms of the disease vary, but are most often caused by the presence of pathological growth.
Features of the virus that provokes the development of condylomas
On the head of a man’s penis, a genital wart or on the body of the penis is a consequence of the impact of the human papillomatosis virus on the body. Also known among doctors and patients by the abbreviation HPV. This virus is very common in the human population.
Today it is more difficult to find a person who would not be infected with it. The virus has a tropism for epithelial and mucous tissues. Under its influence, the properties of cells change, and their active growth begins. As a result, a protrusion on the skin is formed, which is called condyloma.
In total, modern medicine knows more than 100 strains of HPV. They are conventionally divided into three large groups:
- non-oncogenic viruses - those that cause the development of cancer of the skin and mucous membranes in exceptional cases, being generally harmless to humans
- medium-risk pathogens - those microorganisms that can cause cancer, but this does not happen with such frightening frequency
- viruses of high oncogenic risk - those particles that, having entered the human body, with a high proportion will cause not just the degeneration of cells, but their malignant change, up to the development of cancer
Condylomas in men on the penis: methods of infection
Condylomas in men on the head of the penis, as doctors note, can appear at absolutely any age. This, as doctors note, is due to the characteristics of the spread of the virus.
The fact is that HPV is a very contagious infection. Its transmission occurs in the shortest possible time from a sick person to a healthy person through contact. The greatest danger, according to doctors, is sexual intercourse.
In body fluids, the concentration of HPV is maximum, and therefore infection is most possible. Moreover, you should be wary of not only classic sex, but also various variations, including oral or anal contact.
In addition to infection through sex, infection at home is also possible. Often the virus is found on the skin of an infected person.
Sometimes a small wound on the skin of a healthy person is enough for infection to occur. Another option for transmitting infection is through blood.
In this case, everything is explained simply: in the blood the concentration of the pathogenic microorganism is as high as in other biological fluids. Including sperm in men and vaginal secretions in women. We must not forget about the parenteral route of distribution.
Most children are infected during childbirth. When the child’s body comes into contact with the mother’s infected birth canal.
Condylomas and routes of HPV infection
HPV infection can occur due to mechanical trauma to tissues at the time of sexual intercourse, previous microtraumas, microdamages of bacterial origin.
And the reservoirs of infection are usually the seminal fluid, prostate gland or urethra.
The risk of perinatal transmission of human papillomavirus infection is quite significant.
During childbirth, the baby may inhale or swallow the contents of the birth canal of an HPV-infected mother, through which it moves.
The infection can settle in the cells of the child's mouth.
In this regard, in children there is an increase in the occurrence of such a disease as recurrent respiratory papillomatosis of the larynx.
In addition, it is known that children born by cesarean section may develop recurrent papillomatosis of the respiratory tract.
It follows from this that transplacental transmission of the virus from the mother’s body to the fetus during its intrauterine life during pregnancy is also possible.
Household infection with papillomavirus through contact with shoes, towels or personal hygiene items is also likely.
What helps the formation of condylomas
Condylomas in men rarely appear on the penis just like that. Usually, a serious blow to the immune system is required for the virus, which is usually peacefully dormant in the body, to begin its active reproduction.
Any other infectious pathology can serve as an impetus for the appearance of the first skin changes. It happens that a representative of the stronger sex discovers changes in himself, for example, after a common ARVI or flu.
Naturally, if a man has an STD, they will also contribute to the formation of specific growths on the skin of the penis. Stress factors can affect the immune status of a representative of the stronger sex.
Under their influence, the virus can also become active without meeting adequate resistance from the body. We must not forget about congenital and acquired diseases that reduce immune status. For example, with HIV, condylomas in men on the penis can grow to large sizes. They can cover the genital organ quite tightly.
Due to the fact that the immune system is unable to fully counteract the pathogen that exists in the body.
Types of condyloma on the penis
Of course, the types of viruses that cause warts on the penis in men vary greatly. However, the rashes caused by their entry into the body look the same.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to determine only by the shape or color of the condyloma which strain of the virus is causing it. However, doctors divide condylomas into several types depending on how they look.
On the penis of a representative of the stronger sex the following may be localized:
- typical condylomas of the genital type, which can be found not only on the genitals, but also in the anus
- hyperkeratotic growths are characterized by the fact that they layer on top of each other, forming large conglomerates
- papular or smooth formations are also found in medical practice;
- You can also find flat condylomas, which in appearance resemble a small speck, but upon closer examination it will be clear that they are located under the skin

It is also worth considering that some patients develop endourethral condylomas. In this case, they collect around or inside the urethra.
Complications of condylomatosis: genital warts are very dangerous!
With chronic diseases, HIV infection, STIs, condylomas grow and increase in size.
This reduces the patient’s quality of life and reduces sexual activity.
From constant mechanical impact, condylomas become injured and bleed.
An infection joins them, and purulent inflammation develops.
The growths may ulcerate.
If you find single formations on the penis, you need to go to the doctor.
If you do not pay attention and do not pay due attention, complications develop.
They are more difficult to cure than the initial manifestations of the human papillomavirus.
It is important to know what virus is in the body and whether there is a predisposition to cancer.
HIV-infected people have a significantly weakened immune system.
This occurs due to a decrease in CD4 immune cells.
When infected with HPV, the infection is activated.
Manifestations of the disease can occur anywhere on the body.
Due to suppressed immunity, condylomas become large and merge with each other.
They affect the penis, groin, and anal area.
For HIV-infected people, treatment takes a long time.
In parallel with getting rid of condylomas, antiretroviral therapy is required.
It helps improve the immune system.
If a person is not treated for HIV, there is a high probability of a greater spread of condylomas and repeated formations.
If you ignore tumors on the genitals or glans, the following problems will arise:
- Spread of condylomas to the urethra. They block the urethra, leading to inflammation and viral urethritis.
- Viral infection of the rectum leads to the formation of paraproctitis, which interferes with bowel movements, causes severe pain, bleeding, and is difficult to treat.
- The exophytic nature of condylomas is that they grow inside the organ.
- Condyloma has the ability to degenerate into a cancerous tumor. With reduced immunity, the virus that infects the epithelial cell (the upper layer of the skin) begins to produce new cells that differ in structure from the maternal one (atypical). This is how condyloma degenerates into cancer.
- Condylomas have an unaesthetic appearance, causing disgust in the partner. A man may experience psychological and even physical discomfort during sexual intercourse, which significantly reduces the quality of sexual life.
- Men suffering from diabetes mellitus have wide lesions of the foreskin, and their inguinal lymph nodes become inflamed.
- Phimosis develops - the inability of the foreskin to expose the head of the penis.
- In advanced cases, pus accumulates around condylomas, and the patient experiences unbearable pain.
- Condylomas located at the opening of the urethra impede the passage of urine and cause general intoxication of the body, which leads to decreased vitality, drowsiness, poor health, and depression.
Additional symptoms for condylomas on the penis
In a significant number of cases, genital warts in men on the penis simply exist, without causing any discomfort to the stronger sex. Moreover, pain, bleeding and other unpleasant symptoms are not typical for standard condyloma.
It only causes aesthetic discomfort to the person in whom it is detected. However, due to their position, rashes of this localization are often injured and rubbed.
Too active sexual contacts and neglect to use additional lubricant can contribute to this. Also the use of low-quality or incorrectly sized underwear.
As a result, the following symptoms may appear:
- soreness of the rash, which is especially strongly felt if, for example, pressure is applied to the neoplasm
- bleeding, which can vary greatly in intensity between patients, and which depends on the extent of the injury
- secretion of other pathological fluids, such as ichor, pus, etc.
- the appearance of itching, burning and other subjectively unpleasant sensations that cause significant discomfort
Naturally, if the tumor has been injured or rubbed, it is necessary to show some attention to it. It is worth assessing the severity of the damage and treating the condyloma to prevent secondary infection.
Common symptoms
At the initial stage, the disease does not manifest itself in any way, since it is controlled by the immune system. Only 2% of the total number of all infected people fall into the risk zone. Under the influence of unfavorable factors, frequent relapses of the pathology can occur. Condylomas most often occur in those parts of the body where various microtraumas occurred during sexual intercourse.
From the moment of infection to the appearance of growths, it can take several weeks or even decades.
The most common symptom of the disease is the presence of neoplasms that look like ordinary warts. They are characterized by a flesh or light pink tint. The growths can range from tiny to huge. If there is no quality treatment, condylomas gradually grow, which is why they visually become like cauliflower.
In men, papillomas most often affect:
- bridle;
- the head of the penis;
- foreskin;
- crown of the head.
In some cases, the disease can also affect the anus. HPV already at the first stage occupies large areas of the body, which is why all genital organs are affected, and not just a small part of them. If the pathology is in the acute stage, the patient may be diagnosed with damage to the groin area, skin near the anus and genitals.
Against this background, the following symptoms may occur:
- burning and acute pain during sexual intercourse;
- pain when pressing on condylomas;
- bleeding due to friction with clothing;
- if the growths also affect the urethra, the patient may experience pain during urination.
Which doctor will help with the appearance of condylomas on the penis?
Often in hospitals the question is asked about which doctor to contact for condylomas in men on the penis. The question is quite reasonable. Since not all patients understand that they should first go not to a surgeon, but to a venereologist.
After all, it is the venereologist who will make the diagnosis, as well as select a treatment regimen that will help normalize the immune system and protect the body from negative external influences.
Venereologists specialize in STDs, and the human papillomavirus belongs to this group of diseases. We must not forget that the role of an immunologist is often great in the treatment of condyloma in men on the penis.
After all, the disease is directly related to decreased immunity. As a result, correction of the immune status is often required, which is successful only under the supervision of an experienced doctor.
Of course, visiting a surgeon will also not be superfluous. The doctor, having familiarized himself with the venereologist’s diagnosis, will give recommendations on how best to remove the tumors.
Causes
Condylomas in intimate places are external clinical manifestations of the activity of the human papillomavirus. The penetration of viral agents into the body can occur in various ways, but parenteral is the predominant one. There is a risk of infection in the following cases:
- vertical. That is, in the process of natural childbirth. The likelihood of infection of the baby exists only if there are genital warts on the mucous tissues of the birth canal that appeared during pregnancy.
- Parenteral - upon contact with mucous tissues, skin, biological fluids of an infected person. Viral agents can be transmitted by shaking hands, kissing, and also through sexual contact. It should be noted that the peculiarity of the virus is its extremely small size. Infection can occur even if barrier contraception is used.
- There is also a possibility of infection through household means, that is, when using other people's personal hygiene products, when visiting public places, for example, a bathhouse or sauna. However, this happens extremely rarely.
The incubation period of the human papillomavirus can range from several weeks to several years. In some cases, the appearance of intimate condylomas does not occur, which is due to the high level of resistance of the infected organism. A number of factors can be identified against the background of which external manifestations of the virus may occur:
- weakened immunity.
- Hormonal imbalance.
- The presence of acute and chronic diseases of various etiologies.
- Pregnancy or menopause.
- Having bad habits.
Thus, the appearance of condylomas in intimate areas, as well as in the anal area, occurs only against the background of increased viral activity, which is a consequence of a decrease in the defenses of the infected body.
Recommended tests before treatment for genital warts
Patients often ask what tests to take before starting treatment for HPV at a doctor’s appointment. There is nothing surprising in this issue, since not all patients understand that they will have to undergo diagnostics. It seems to them that the diagnosis is obvious, but not everything is so simple.
First of all, it is recommended to perform a cytological examination. To do this, a smear is taken from the urethra of a representative of the stronger sex to examine it for the presence of atypical cells affected by the pathogen. Another mandatory method of research is histology.
Its use is necessary for the doctor to make sure that the growth on the skin is not malignant. Another test that is recommended for representatives of the stronger sex is the PCR technique. It is necessary to specifically determine the type of virus, and based on the result, select treatment, as well as make a prognosis.
Doctors categorically do not recommend neglecting examinations. Even if it seems that the diagnosis is as obvious as daylight!
Why is it important to determine the type of HPV when condylomas appear?
Patients are often interested in the question of which HPV viruses cause cancerous changes. At the same time, they may refuse detailed diagnostics after hearing about the range of necessary studies.
It is necessary to understand that without diagnosis, knowledge of the names of the strains will not help a person determine whether he has become infected with an oncogenic type of pathogen or not. Only diagnosis using the PCR technique will allow the doctor to tell which strain of the virus is bothering the patient.
Then predict how the disease will develop in the future. It is precisely because of the need to determine oncogenicity that it is strongly recommended to take the tests that the doctor recommends.
Without them, it is impossible to determine the strain of viral particles. However, what will change if the doctor knows the strain of the virus that a person is sick with, patients ask? Everything is very simple.
The doctor will understand that this particular patient needs more careful monitoring on his part. This will help you correctly schedule preventive examinations and select the best options for controlling the activity of the virus in the body.
A man suffering from an oncogenic strain, but under close medical supervision, is in a more protected position. Than the same representative of the stronger sex who is not under the supervision of a doctor.
Features of drug treatment of condylomas
Unfortunately, complete and definitive treatment for HPV is still impossible today. Once the virus enters the human body, it will remain there throughout life. But you can reduce the activity of viral particles so that new condylomas no longer appear and old ones do not increase in size.
To reduce symptoms, it is recommended to use antiviral drugs. They are able to inhibit the activity of pathogenic particles and prevent them from actively reproducing. Examples of antiviral drugs are, for example, Isoprinosine, Lykopid, Panavir, etc. With their help, it is possible to achieve stable remission.
Doctors recommend paying special attention to drugs that can enhance the body's immune defense. These could be, for example, Viferon, Cycloferon, etc. These drugs stimulate the activity of the immune system.
They will help the body fight pathogenic tumors on its own. Naturally, it is worth considering that therapy can only be selected by the attending physician. He will be able to take into account indications and contraindications, and give recommendations for treatment adjustments, if necessary.

Treatment of human papillomavirus
After the operation, the removed tissue is sent for analysis to determine the type of virus, and based on the results, antiviral therapy is prescribed. The doctor prescribes medications to reduce the concentration of the papilloma virus in the blood and boost immunity. There is now a large selection of antiviral drugs that can effectively combat HPV. Simple removal of skin papillomas, unfortunately, does not completely rid the patient of the virus. Without undergoing comprehensive treatment, papillomatosis cannot be eradicated.
Methods for removing condylomas
Representatives of the stronger sex are often interested in what methods are used to remove skin rashes caused by HPV activation. Modern medicine offers several options for combating condylomas.
The most commonly used:
- laser surgery is a simple and painless method in which the vessels in the tumor are cauterized using a clearly directed laser beam, which leads to the death of the tumor tissue
- radio wave surgery is the most modern and expensive method, in which the formation is affected using special currents, which also leads to coagulation of blood vessels, and is also characterized by a high degree of painlessness
- chemical technique , which involves the use of various aggressive drugs that can cauterize a tumor that causes discomfort to a man (almost not used for treating the genitals due to the high risk of burns to uninjured tissues)
- cryotherapy involves the impact of liquid nitrogen on a pathological neoplasm, which leads to the death of pathological cells and, as a consequence, to the death of the pathological neoplasm
In difficult cases, when the formation is very large, surgeons can resort to removal using classical surgical techniques. However, recently this method has been used only in exceptional cases. When it is impossible to use other methods for some reason.
Why is it important to remove condylomas?
Treatment of condylomas on the head in men is important not only with the help of medications. Even if the condyloma, objectively speaking, does not cause any inconvenience, it is still necessary to remove it.
There are two reasons for this.
Firstly , condylomas are always a source of new viral particles. Viruses accumulate in the cells of the growths, which can spread throughout the body during trauma, scratching, or through the blood. Only by removing such active sources can the pathological process go into remission.
Secondly, the presence of growths in such an area is fraught with frequent trauma. Trauma, in turn, contributes to the malignant degeneration of cells. As a result, a person may develop cancer.
It is also worth considering that condylomas often spoil the aesthetic appearance. This pushes a significant number of patients to visit a doctor. Of course, aesthetic discomfort is not a direct medical indication for removal. But doctors cannot ignore it if the patient has no contraindications.
Is traditional therapy possible for condylomas on the penis?
Some patients try to treat genital warts on the head in men using folk remedies.
HPV is one of those rare cases when the use of some folk recipes becomes acceptable. For example, celandine juice can be used to combat rashes.
It is used to treat condylomas. Providing a cauterizing effect, it helps get rid of pathology. True, doctors note that traditional methods are not the most reliable way to combat rashes.
This is explained by the fact that there is a risk of injury to tissues untouched by the disease. Especially if you use the products not too carefully. Unfortunately, the same celandine can easily cause a burn on your skin.
It is also worth remembering that the removal of condylomas should always be supplemented with medication therapy to suppress the activity of the virus. There are no folk remedies that can reduce the rate of HPV reproduction.
Prevention
Genital warts in men are sexually transmitted, so the basic rule in preventing HPV is:
- Protected sexual intercourse, use of a condom.
- Regular sexual partner.
- Hygiene of the genital organs, keeping them dry and clean.
- Strengthening the immune system.
- Healthy eating.
- Rejection of bad habits.
- In public places, be sure to cover open wounds with a band-aid, and after going outside, be sure to wash your hands with soap and water before going to the toilet.
It is up to you to decide how to get rid of condyloma. But only a doctor can correctly diagnose whether you have HPV. And after diagnosis, it will be possible to decide whether to use medication or a folk remedy. When removing a papilloma, remember that if not treated correctly, the wart can develop into a malignant stage. Read also: wart on the penis, effective treatments
Features of healing after removal of condylomas
Patients often ask at appointments about how healing occurs after removal of pathological growths. Doctors note that in most cases the rehabilitation process takes little time due to good blood supply to the penis.
The patient must follow the very minimum rules:
- Regularly treat areas where pathological growths were previously located using antiseptic drugs
- observe hygiene rules by washing the penis with warm running water at least once a day
- refuse sexual intercourse even with a condom for a while until the skin in the places where the removal was performed heals
To prevent relapses in the future, you will have to carefully monitor your immunity.
To do this, it is recommended to avoid colds and other infections and visit a doctor regularly for preventive examinations. Do not forget that it is strongly discouraged to practice sexual intercourse without a condom.
Especially with casual partners, in whose health there is no confidence.
Treatment with folk remedies

Garlic
Alcohol tincture . To prepare the infusion, we need fresh garlic, pure medical alcohol, and dark glassware.
First, chop the head of garlic, squeeze out the juice, dilute it with alcohol in a 1:1 ratio, then add water to the infusion, also 1:1.
Wipe the growths with this mixture four times a day until they disappear completely.
Fresh slices . You can use garlic without pre-processing. Just cut it into slices, press a little to release the juice, and wipe the wart on your penis three times a day.
With red wine . Take juice from one head of garlic, 100 ml of dry red wine, 50 ml of freshly squeezed apple juice and juice from half a lemon. Mix everything, leave for three hours, then strain. Take 20 drops once a day.
Garlic compresses . Several options can be offered:
- A clove of garlic or gauze moistened with gruel is applied to the wart, secured with a plaster or bandage and left overnight.
- For sensitive skin, crushed slices are mixed with vegetable oil and honey to form sour cream. Next, use it like the previous recipe.
- For old formations, mix garlic pulp 1:1 with baby cream.
Celandine
The first treatment option for celandine applies mainly to those who live in rural areas or have a dacha away from big cities. This is cauterization with fresh plant juice. I plucked a twig, anointed the wart, and so on several times a day until complete healing.
For maximum effectiveness, you can bandage the leg of the condyloma with a thread. The papilloma root will gradually dry out and eventually fall off. A small wound forms in its place. Treat it too with the juice of the plant until the sore heals completely.
If this is not possible, then there are other ways.
Canned juice . Prepared in summer. Pass the plant through a meat grinder, squeeze out the juice, combine with vodka 1:1. Store in the refrigerator in a glass, tightly closed container. Use as you would fresh juice.
Infusion from dry raw materials. You can prepare dry celandine yourself or purchase it at a pharmacy. For 100 grams of herb we take 0.5 medical alcohol. Infuse in a glass container in a dark place for two weeks, then strain and store in the refrigerator. Take 15 drops 3 times a day before meals.
Oil . Pour the dry grass with vegetable oil so that it covers the raw material by two fingers. Let it sit for one hour in a warm, dark place, then put it in the refrigerator for a week. After this, strain and add vegetable oil 1:1.
Apply to the wart twice a day until it is completely gone.
Super clean
This is an inexpensive pharmaceutical product. It does not contain a plant extract, but in its action the drug is very similar to celandine.
The medicine consists of sodium, or rather its chloride, bicarbonate and hydroxide, as well as water.
Apply the balm directly to the keratinized areas of the skin; they turn dark brown. As you use the drug, the skin will peel off, so the wart should soon disappear.
Solcoderm
This drug is much more expensive than Supercleaner. It is sold as a solution in ampoules. The main active ingredient is azoic acid. It also contains lactic, oxalic and acetic acids.
Solcoderm is applied to condyloma, it becomes gray or yellowish in color. As the drug acts, the skin on the treated area becomes dehydrated, then dies and falls off. As a rule, the scab comes off after a single application.
The drug should not be applied to a damaged wart. You need to be careful with the skin around it, as the product can leave burns and scars.
Apple juice
For treatment, it is better to use sour varieties: Antonovka, Granny, Semerenko. The simplest option is to simply rub the papilloma with a piece of fresh fruit several times a day.
Another method is a compress of fruit pulp.
Kalanchoe leaves
- Compress . Freshly picked leaves of the plant are thoroughly kneaded, applied to a gauze pad and fixed to the problem area with a band-aid. The dressing needs to be changed every 6 hours.
- Rubbing warts with plant juice . The frequency depends on your diligence. The result may appear on the second day of treatment.
- Alcohol tincture . It is prepared by mixing 1: crushed leaves with vodka. Leave for a week, shaking the container periodically. Wipe the papilloma morning and evening.
- Ointment . Take Kalanchoe juice and olive oil 1:2. Boil in a water bath for half an hour, stirring constantly.
To make the leaves more beneficial, you can put them in the refrigerator for two weeks.
Onion and vinegar
If you have vinegar essence, then it must be diluted to 25%. This is the most acceptable concentration. You can take 9%, but the effect will be weaker.
There are several methods for preparing a remedy for warts. You can take either a whole onion or a part, or chop it.
There is only one way to make the product: you need to place the onion in vinegar for a day, then apply it to the affected area and fix it with a band-aid.
Propolis
Propolis (bee glue) has a fairly wide range of uses. It is formed as a result of the painstaking work of bees. They carry resin particles from the buds of trees and flowers on their paws, then add to this the resinous secretions of their glands. This is the reason for the enormous benefits of bee glue. It contains more than 50 substances beneficial to the human body. It is also effective for getting rid of papilloma.
with propolis tincture . Moisten a cotton swab and apply it to the condyloma. Can be fixed with adhesive tape.
Ointment . To prepare, take 300 grams of propolis and 80 grams of rendered pork fat, mix everything and smear the problem area several times a day.
In its purest form . Probably the easiest way is to chew a piece of propolis and apply it to the papilloma. Fix.
Potato
Applying a tuber . You need to take a piece of fresh root vegetable, cut it to the required size, apply it to the wart and fix it. Change the dressing as needed. Continue until the condyloma falls off.
Grated potato compress . Grind the tuber on a fine grater and squeeze lightly. Apply a gauze swab with gruel to the papilloma before going to bed. Continue until the wart goes away.
Juice. We soak a cotton-gauze swab in potato juice and make compresses.
It is also recommended to drink potato juice to stimulate the immune system. Young potatoes are used to prepare it. First, it is rubbed on a fine grater, then thrown onto cheesecloth and squeezed out. It needs to sit for 15 minutes before using. Take half a glass daily before meals for a month. It is recommended to use red and pink varieties of root vegetables.
Aloe
Bandage. A piece of peeled plant leaf is tied to the condyloma. Change the bandage twice a day.
Juice. Agave juice is also used to apply compresses. Simply soak the bandage with juice. But you will have to change it quite often, as it dries out quickly.
Since aloe has an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effect, it can even be applied to damaged papilloma.
Dandelion
Juice. This recipe can only be used when the plant is flowering. The milk that comes out of the torn stem is generously rubbed onto the wart.
Alcohol infusion . To prepare, collect yellow inflorescences, compact tightly into a glass vessel, and pour cologne or vodka. Let it brew in a dark place for two weeks, strain. Use to lubricate condyloma four times a day for 45 days.
Rowan
In its purest form . Ripe red rowan berries are cut into two parts. With a cut, you need to apply a part of the berry to the affected area of the skin and secure it with a band-aid. We change the bandage twice a day.
Apple vinegar
In its purest form . Regular store-bought apple cider vinegar should be used to lubricate the papilloma. It needs to be brought to a concentration of 3-5%. To do this, it is recommended to use a cotton swab and pre-lubricate the skin around the wart with creams. This is necessary to prevent irritation and burns of the skin.
Dough . Mix flour and vinegar, make a small cake and place on the papilloma. It will burn a little. Wait until the mixture dries and carefully remove. Along with the dough, the top layer of the wart should also come off. Then the procedure is repeated. It is necessary to remove the skin formation from the root. After two procedures, you can repeat them the next day, as it is quite long and not painless.
Plums
First, prepare the saline solution. To do this, take half a glass of warm boiled water and a heaped teaspoon of table salt. Add three large ripe blue plum berries to the liquid, after removing the skin and seeds. Let it sit for a day.
Then drain the excess liquid, stir the plum pulp until smooth, apply it to a cotton-gauze swab and apply bandages to the condyloma within 24 hours. We change the bandage once every 12 hours.
Cranberries and walnuts
This recipe is more aimed at boosting immunity. Ingredients: 200 grams of cranberries, 200 grams of nuts, one green apple, 100 grams of granulated sugar, 50 grams of water.
Grind the cranberries through a sieve and separate the pulp. Grind the kernels in a blender, then knead additionally until the oil is released. Combine all ingredients in an enamel bowl, bring to a boil, stirring constantly, reduce heat and simmer until caramelized. Take 1 tablespoon before meals.
Castor oil
This product is quite easy to use. It can be rubbed into the papilloma, applied as compresses, or applied pointwise. When using the latter method, you need to allow the oil to dry completely. But this remedy must be used for a long time, up to 30 days, to achieve the desired effect. The advantages of castor oil are that it acts quite gently and this allows it to be used on particularly sensitive areas of the intimate areas without discomfort.
Oatmeal bath
This method is suitable for those whose condylomas have already grown sufficiently. You need to pour a pack of oatmeal into hot water, when they swell, you can start taking water procedures. The duration is one hour. Oatmeal will not help remove warts immediately; it will prepare them for further procedures and dry them out. In addition, it will soothe itchy skin.
Duct tape
Adhesive medical tape must be purchased at a pharmacy. This is a patch impregnated with salicylic acid.
You need to cut a piece of tape exactly the size of the papilloma and stick it on the previously steamed wart. Wear the patch for 5–7 days without removing it. It cannot be wet. Then we sharply tear off the tape, and file the condyloma with a cosmetic file, pre-treated with an antiseptic.
This method will remove only the upper part of the wart. The root will remain and over time it can grow again.
Various baths
With thyme . For one bath you need to take 2 cups of dry herb and pour two cups of boiling water and leave for three hours. For 10 days, carry out the procedures daily, for at least half an hour.
Chamomile and St. John's wort . In a 1:1 ratio, take dry plants, brew with boiling water, leave for a day. Before use, warm up to the temperature of the water in which you usually wash. Pour into a basin and take a local bath for 10-15 minutes daily for ten days.
