Anti-aging face masks after 30 years: recipes, indications for use, recommendations

Hello, dear friends! There is nothing you can do, but after 30 years you can notice the first signs of deterioration in your skin condition.

And if you don’t regularly take care of your skin, your face will become “far from creme brulee.” To delay the appearance of wrinkles, let's look at how to make anti-aging face masks at home after 30.

It is not necessary to purchase expensive products in the store; high-quality masks can be made at home from simple products.

Skin care rules after 30

To make your face look young, without wrinkles, in addition to masks, you must follow the rules of a healthy lifestyle. Namely:

  • It is important to eliminate any bad habits. Alcohol and smoking are harmful to the skin. And this becomes especially noticeable after 30. The skin becomes dry and dull. Wrinkles appear more clearly on the forehead and in the corners of the eyes. The nasolabial triangle is also affected.
  • It's important to get enough sleep. As they say, if you have a choice - sleep, manicure or depilation, choose sleep. Unshaved legs can be hidden with jeans, your arms can last another day, but lack of sleep makes your face look haggard. And there is no way to hide this.
  • Use the right skincare products. It is advisable that it be selected according to your skin type. It’s good if it contains retinol, argan oil, vitamin E and C.
  • Be sure to remove makeup from your face at night. If you neglect this rule, your skin ages by leaps and bounds.
  • Protect your skin from the sun. Even in winter, use creams with SPF. And even more so in the summer.

Tip: practice face building and facial acupressure.

How to fight wrinkles

The appearance of wrinkles is promoted by certain processes that occur over time in our body. These include:

  • lack of oxygen in skin cells as a result of impaired blood supply;
  • decreased production of collagen and elastin;
  • slowdown of intracellular metabolism;
  • decreased ability of the skin to withstand aggressive environmental factors;
  • Muscle tone decreases, as a result of which wrinkles also appear, the face seems to “float” down.

After we have figured out exactly what processes lead to skin aging, it’s time to talk about how to get rid of them or at least act preventively.

  • Reduce your consumption of drugs and alcohol.
  • Completely review your diet. Eat more vegetables, whole grain cereals, dairy and fermented milk products, nuts and various dried fruits. Try to cook food mainly by steaming or baking in the oven.
  • Increase your consumption of clean water to an average of 2 liters, and try to distribute this amount evenly throughout the day. Under no circumstances drink a lot of liquid, including water at night, as you risk getting swelling (if you encounter such a problem, then use our masks against swelling on your face).
  • Try to give up flour, sugar, fried, too salty and spicy foods, and be sure to eliminate unhealthy fats.
  • When going outside, be sure to use creams with a high protection factor against negative environmental influences.
  • Maintain a sleep schedule of 7-8 hours a day.

Despite the fact that this article is about anti-aging face masks after 30 at home, do not forget that your skin also needs other products and methods of care:

  • use facial lotions and toners regularly;
  • Use suitable creams morning and evening;
  • be sure to cleanse your face twice a day, and carry out deeper cleansing about once a week (depending on the degree of contamination of your skin);
  • Remember also that all the cosmetics you use should be suitable for your type and age.

The most delicate areas of the skin, and therefore more susceptible to aging, are the area around the eyes, neck and décolleté. Therefore, remember that they also need care, perhaps even more carefully than the face. When you make a face mask against wrinkles, you can safely apply it to your neck and décolleté.

Also, manufacturers of many creams advise applying them not only to the face, but also to the above areas, with the exception of the eyelids (for this area, use these eye masks for wrinkles at home).

In order to support cosmetic products, you can use two more very effective means - face-building (facial gymnastics) and massage (read more about facial massage here).

When is it time to use anti-wrinkle masks?

You should always take care of your skin. But more thorough care can already be carried out from the age of 25-30. At this age, the skin gradually fades. The main signs that it’s time to practice anti-aging masks are:

  • morning swelling under the eyes;
  • facial wrinkles that are no longer smoothed out in the morning;
  • creases on the face from the pillow;
  • the appearance of pigment spots;
  • sagging facial contour;
  • persistent dry skin.

How to use masks correctly

Experts recommend making masks that tighten the skin exclusively in the evening. It is important not just to apply the composition to your face, but also to completely relax. Allow all components to penetrate as much as possible into the layers of the epidermis and continue their action there at night. It is better to prepare the composition immediately before use, before the components oxidize. Keep the mask on the skin for no longer than 20-30 minutes and wash it off with warm water. Carry out rejuvenation procedures 1-2 times a week. Regularity is the key to a lasting effect.

Masks for dry skin

Recipes for anti-aging face masks are divided by skin type. So, the following compositions are excellent for dry:

  • Banana. Especially good in winter. The mask restores skin elasticity and perfectly moisturizes. To prepare it, you need to mix 0.5 banana, a little warm milk and oatmeal, ground into flour. You should get a homogeneous mass of medium thickness. Apply the composition to cleansed skin for 20 minutes. Then wash it off with warm water.
  • Yeast with honey . It is prepared from 30 ml of warm milk, 0.5 teaspoon of honey and 0.25 g of wet yeast. First, the yeast is diluted in milk. Oatmeal and honey are also added here until a homogeneous, moderately thick mass is obtained. This is our moisturizing mask. It is important to know that the composition stings a little at first. This is fine. Keep the mask on for up to 30 minutes.
  • Gelatin mask for dry skin . To prepare it you need cosmetic gelatin crystals, coconut oil 10 drops, tangerine essential oil 3 drops and green tea (not hot). Gelatin is poured into tea and left until it swells. Then oils are added to it and the mask is applied to the face with a brush in two or three layers for half an hour.
  • Olive. To prepare it, mix 2 tablespoons aloe juice, 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 teaspoon heavy homemade cream. Apply the entire mixture to cleansed skin with a brush and leave for 20 minutes.

Important: after masks, be sure to apply a caring night cream to your face.

Recipes for anti-aging masks

Banana mus. Grind 1/4 banana pulp with 100 ml of pure yogurt, 5 drops of olive oil and 2 drops of royal jelly until smooth. Cover your face with the resulting mousse, leaving it for half an hour. This procedure smoothes out facial wrinkles, stops age-related changes, i.e. rejuvenates.

Starch-based rejuvenation. Whip cream (1 tsp) with starch (0.5 tsp) and grated banana, and then cover your face with the resulting mixture. After it dries, wash your face. Also has a tightening effect.

For oily and normal skin

In this case, the skin also needs hydration, protection and nutrition. Therefore, the following masks are especially suitable:

  • Cucumber. Take one fresh cucumber. Remove the stalks and chop into a fine grater. Add one protein to the cucumber mixture. Mix everything well and apply with a brush to the skin. Can be done in 2-3 layers. After 15 minutes, rinse off the mask with warm water.
  • Egg. Gorgeously tightens the contours of the face and décolleté area. To prepare it, mix two whipped egg whites with three drops of lemon essential oil or pure lemon juice. Apply the mixture to the face, neck, décolleté and leave for 15 minutes.
  • Oil mask . It moisturizes well, eliminates excess sebum, and normalizes the functioning of the sebaceous glands. To prepare the mixture, mix 1 teaspoon grape seed oil and a few drops of rose and sandalwood essential oils. Apply the mixture to cleansed facial skin. If necessary, give a light massage. Remove the remaining oil after 15 minutes with a cotton sponge moistened with warm water or cosmetic milk.
  • Potato. Here you need to take two tablespoons of warm mashed potatoes. Add two tablespoons of milk and a teaspoon of honey to it. Apply the entire composition to your face for 15 minutes. Then rinse everything off with warm water.

Masks with a clear lifting effect

For loose skin and sagging facial contours, masks with a tightening effect are needed. In this case, use the following compositions:

  • Parsley + potatoes . Here you need to grate raw potatoes on a fine grater. Add chopped herbs to it, which must first be doused with boiling water. Add a teaspoon of olive oil to the mask. The entire mixture is applied to the face and then removed after 20 minutes.
  • Green apple . It is simply grated on a fine grater and applied to the face. If your skin is very dry, you can add a few drops of sea buckthorn or olive oil to the mask.
  • Pomegranate . Mix pomegranate juice with oatmeal, crushed into flour, and apply the mask over your entire face.

Advice: it’s good if, before applying any mask, you do a self-massage of your face and slightly improve the blood supply to the skin. This way the components of the masks will have the best effect.

Do anti-aging face masks after 30 years at home regularly to get the desired effect.
