Cryopharma is a medicine for the effective removal of warts and papillomas. The effect of the drug is similar to cryotherapy - a method of “freezing” growths, which is carried out in medical institutions or beauty salons. And Cryopharma allows you to get the same result at home. But to do this you need to know how to use this tool correctly.

Cryopharma for warts

According to the pharmacological classification, Cryopharma refers to cryotherapy (cold exposure), which freezes warts of viral origin, removing formations from the skin. This medicine is designed for home use, but you should consult your doctor before using it because you first need to determine if the wart is cancerous. Read the instructions for use of Cryopharm.

Composition and release form

The drug Cryopharm is available in the form of an aerosol, which is easy and simple to use. Description of the medicine and composition:

Compound A mixture of propane and dimethyl ether, upon release creating a temperature of minus 57 degrees.
Package 35 ml metal aerosol can with refrigerants, cardboard box with instructions for use, holder and 12 sponge applicators.
Varieties The purple box is for removing plantar warts (contains a measuring scale, file and patches), the blue box is for treating growths on the hands.

Effect of the drug

By pressing the Cryopharm applicator to the surface of the wart, you can immediately begin the process of freezing the tissue of the formation to the base. The patient feels a slight burning or tingling of the skin, it turns white, but after removing the applicator it returns to color. After some time, the skin becomes red, and after a few days a blister forms under the wart, barely visible to the naked eye.

After 10-14 days, the frozen skin falls off the surface of the wart, and a new layer of healthy skin tissue forms under the blister. If the papilloma or part of it has not disappeared within two weeks, you can repeat the course of treatment without harm to health. One package of Cryopharm (35 ml bottle) is enough to remove 12 warts. Applicators included in the pack are considered disposable.

Indications for use

Doctors often prescribe the drug Cryopharm - the instructions for use of the drug contain information about the indications:

  • removal of papillomas or warts using cryotherapy;
  • suitable for eliminating raised papillomas (caused by the human papillomavirus), flat warts, including old formations;
  • The freezing method is used in clinical and home settings; it removes formations from the rough surfaces of the palms, elbows, knees, and phalanges of the fingers.

Cryopharma for feet

In one application, Cryopharm for feet freezes warts (plantar spines). If the formation is too deep, it is large in size or has several roots, then several repetitions of the course will be required at intervals of two weeks. To improve healing, it is recommended not to injure the skin after freezing and handle the application site very carefully. If the spine does not completely disappear after three courses, consult a doctor.

Cryopharma for papillomas

The drug Cryopharma for papillomas has a similar effect as the cryodestruction method used in medical institutions. Papillomas can be frozen only if they are recognized as benign, do not increase in size or color, and are located in areas of increased trauma (armpits, waist, folds). Papillomas can be removed from the neck and arms in one application (if they are small). It is not recommended to use the drug to remove skin tumors from the face or large diameter ones.

general description

“Cryopharma” allows virus carriers to get rid of unpleasant rashes on the body at home. The medicinal composition is applied to the papilloma itself. It acts on her in the same way as liquid nitrogen during cryotherapy.

The main component of the drug is the refrigerant. It is he who quickly freezes the problematic growth. At -57 degrees, the virus does not survive, so the neoplasm stops actively growing into healthy areas of the skin. Immediately after application, the treated area may become covered with frost. After just a few seconds, this effect wears off.

Due to exposure to extremely low temperatures, the skin turns red. This is a normal reaction to the drug and should not cause concern.

“Cryopharma” has managed to gain a certain reputation thanks to a huge number of advantages:

  • Ensures that most patients obtain the stated results;
  • Suitable for the treatment of papilloma in children over 4 years of age;
  • No skin anesthesia is required before treatment;
  • After treatment with the drug, no marks or scars remain on the body;
  • The medicine is easy to use;
  • Suitable for repeated use;
  • Affordable price.

In each package with a bottle containing the medicine, you can find several applicators designed for precise application of the composition to the papilloma.

Reviews

Valeria, 45 years old, the doctor recommended using Cryopharma to treat papilloma on her daughter’s arm. I burned the growth with this composition only once. It quickly fell away. I was pleased that there were no signs of disease left on the skin. I didn’t have to use Cryopharma anymore, since the virus hasn’t made itself felt for about 5 years now. The can had to be thrown away, since during this time all its contents had evaporated and it turned out to be empty.

Alexey, 28 years old “Cryopharma” didn’t help me at all.
I tried to use it to treat a papilloma that had grown on my toe. He cauterized the growth until the medicine ran out. Unfortunately, this method did not work for me, although friends spoke positively about the freezing composition that can be used at home.

Analogs

There are direct and indirect analogues of Cryopharm. The first substitutes are similar to the original drug in composition and principle of action, the second ones are similar in their effect on the wart (this may not necessarily be cold, but for example, exposure to acids or chemical alkalis). Popular analogues of the drug are:

  • Solcoderm;
  • Feresol;
  • Papilleck;
  • Stefalin;
  • Super-Clandestine;
  • Lapis pencil.

Side effects

If you follow the instructions exactly, then negative consequences can be avoided. So, by extending the contact time beyond the norm, you can damage the top layer of skin. This leaves an unsightly scar. Try to prevent refrigerant from coming into contact with healthy areas of the skin. Otherwise, a white ischemic ring may appear around the wart.

The duration of contact between the application impregnated with the basic composition and the papilloma is limited to 20 seconds. More detailed information can be found in the instructions.

The essence of the cryodestruction process

During the procedure, the warts are exposed to liquid nitrogen at a temperature of -190 C, usually for 30 seconds (sometimes the time varies). Accordingly, the tissue freezes heavily and swelling with high blood supply forms in the treated area of the epidermis. After a few hours, a thick crust will appear on this place. Over time, during the regeneration process, new, healthy cells are formed underneath. Dead, destroyed tissue in the form of a dried crust will fall off, and in its place will be clean skin with a slightly pink tint.

Sometimes cryomassage of warts is performed. It is used when a small surface effect is necessary. A cotton swab is dipped in nitrogen and the surface is treated with it for about 15 seconds.

A successful resolution of such a procedure can only be expected if everything is done correctly. It should be carried out by an experienced specialist who correctly determines the time of exposure to the substance.

If the influence of nitrogen is insufficient, the procedure must be repeated. If excessive cold penetration occurs deep into the skin, a scar may form. In addition, the virus in such cases is able to enter the bloodstream and spread throughout the body, causing multiple new growths to appear on the skin. The substance is supplied during cryodestruction under pressure, which creates a risk of injury during cauterization. These facts indicate that such nitrogen for warts is not sold in pharmacies, but there are options that can replace it.
